Mike, just tried your NoMoreCopies and it was great...It save me a lot of time. Hey, I was wondering what programming language are you using in OS X?

Cool. Glad you found it useful.

I am building the apps using Objective-C, Cocoa and XCode.

Mike,
I use and like Quakebar. I have 3 suggestions for your next rev.
When a new event is detected, flash in a different color (bright)
When a new event is detected, offer the option of a sound. A quake sound
would be cool, like plates rattling, or a rumble..
In the event listing, place a time and date field. Make it adjustable to select
GMT as default, and user selectable time zone.
Again, cool app!! (BTW, I work for the USGS Menlo Park)

Hi !

Great little app.
Like others, I would love the ability to filter out the countries instead of just highlighting them and a more visible / audible notification.

I also have another idea, but I would like to discuss that 'in private'.

Send me a note, if you are interested.

Cheers !

I work in seismics and the Quake Bar is a very nifty tool. I will definately recommend it to my colleagues using Macs.

I have interests in Santa Barbara, Yachats, OR and West Maui and all are water front towns. I needed Quakebar. How can I get a phone call made to my cell phone when a big quake happens in my area? Any ideas?

Thanks

Is QuakeBar going to be ported to the Intel version of Mac OS X? If you don't have time to work on it, I would be happy to help port it (shouldn't be too difficult). Maybe some features could be added to it as suggested by some of the other posts.

Thanks,

David

I'd love to talk with you about this app. Since Filemaker Pro (even the new version) still uses a spell checker from the 1990s that "maxes out" the number of words you can add to the dictionary, unfortunately I cannot use it I am trying to use SpellMe but what I need for it to do is support auto-copying of the corrected text when going back to the original app. Is there any way you can help me with this? I will end you a box of Pocky from Japan ^_^
